The rose of Jericho is a  shrub that grows commonly in the Mediterranean, in Northern Africa, Western Asia, Southwestern Europe, and in the Arabian Peninsula. Because of the harsh dry environment that this plant lives in it can amazingly live up to 50 years without a drop of water, the rose then expands again when it is exposed to water, this process can occur again and again.

The rose of Jericho has a strong aroma, a poignant and slightly bitter taste.



Soothing qualities:


This herb is widely used in traditional medicine for its antiseptic, muscle soothing properties and as a diuretic. It is also known to calm a person down in case they're feeling anxious. It has long been said to absorb negative energy if carried.






Boil the rose of Jericho for three minutes and let it steep in the hot water for another three minutes. Enjoy it by itself or with a bit of honey.
