(jar 1 Kg )

Description

Olive trees are among the oldest known cultivated trees in the world and they're the speciality of the mediterranean area. Ours are grown and cultivated in Lebanon where there are an estimated 13 million olive trees.

Green olives are picked while unripe, which makes them denser and more bitter than brown or black olives. Our green olives are pickled with water and salt and have an extremely appetizing taste. We add a slice of lemon to the jar to give the olives an additional poignant flavor!

Tips

Olives become bitter if they're cooked too long, so always add them to hot dishes at the last minute. Opened cans or jars of olives should be refrigerated, but some olives can be stored at room temperature if they're submerged in brine or olive oil.
